2014 #IBCT – Sweet Sixteen

The International Blogger Championship Tournament started last week with the nomination of the top 256 blogs in the world.

The top 64 were then invited to the tournament and now only 16 remain.

The big question is, who will be crowned the 3rd annual #IBCT Champion?

Lets review the standings.

#IBCT – EAST REGION

The #1 overall top ranked blog Quicksprout.com was upset in the second round by #9 seed bloggingtips.com.

#5 seed moneysavingmom.com was upset by #13 seed kaushik.net

#3 seed myblogguest.com was upset by #6 seed Jonloomer.com

#2 seed wordstream.com was upset by #7 seed nichepursuits.com

WHAT HAPPENED IN THE SOUTH?
In the south region both top ranked seeds advanced to the sweet sixteen round.

#1 seed SocialMediaExaminer.com and #2 seed ShoutMeLoud.com both advanced through the first and second round avoiding upsets.

Also #3 seed SmartPassiveIncome.com avoided being upset and has made it to the sweet sixteen.

The #4 seed FourHourWorkWeek.com was upset in the first round by convinceconvert.com but was beat out by #5 seed Source-Wave.com, a slight underdog in the 4 vs 5 seed matchup.
